Elsanta

For years, one of the best varieties of the dessert variety. Very large and very firm, bright red fruit with a juicy pulp. Recommended for controlled-environment cultivations, as well as in soil.
Fruiting time: Medium-early variety, usually fruits from the first week of June to the end of June.
Size and shape of fruits: Very large and large, with bright red colour with a gloss and with a slightly lighter tip, which is characteristic of dessert varieties. Fruit types include conical and broadly-conical shapes.
Taste and firmness: Very tasty, raspberry-like. Juicy, bright-red pulp. Very firm fruits. Perfectly tolerates transport over very long distances and can be stored for a long time, even in-room conditions.
Productivity: Super productive. For best harvests, it should be grown on more fertile, water-rich soils.
Plant type: Strong or very strong growth, sufficiently compact and erected.
Resistance: Sufficiently resistance to common leaf spot (mycosphaerella fragariae) and leaf scorch disease (diplocarpon earlianum), as well as to gray mold (botrytis cinerea) or powdery mildew (sphaerotheca macularis). Moderately resistant to powdery mildew (sphaerotheca macularis), root system diseases and frost.
Purpose: Excellent dessert variety.
Cultivation type: Good for growing under shields, as well as in soil.
