Grandarosa

Excellent early-growing variety. Distinguished by exceptionally large, firm, attractive and very delicious fruits. Yields richly and is suitable for cultivation in European conditions.
Fruiting time: Early variety, usually fruits from the beginning of June to the end of June.
Size and shape of fruits: Extremely large and large types, with a very attractive shape. Orange-red, evenly coloured and glossy.
Taste and firmness: Very aromatic and tasty. Very firm fruits. Endures transport over long distances very good and can be stored for a long time, even in-room conditions.
Productivity: Highly productive.
Plant type: Strong growth, loose and erected habit.
Resistance: Low sensitivity to gray mold. Resistance to common leaf spot (mycosphaerella fragariae) and powdery mildew (sphaerotheca macularis); mildly resistance to leaf scorch disease (diplocarpon earlianum) and Verticillium wilt. High resistant to frosts.
Purpose: For both dessert and processing purposes.
Cultivation type: Suitable for fruiting acceleration, growing in soil as well as in low and high tunnels. For professional cultivation as well as in gardens and plots.
