Holy
Holy is a Polish, early strawberry variety bred by the Hortplant nursery. The fruiting time coincides with Rumba. It combines a traditional ripening period with the possibility of secondary fruiting in the second half of summer (depending on the weather), which increases the total yield during the season.
Ripening time: an early variety fruiting at the same time as the Rumba variety.
Taste: the flavor is characterized by a good balance between sweetness and subtle acidity. Very tasty fruits.
Fruit size: very large and large strawberries.
Fruit attractiveness, shape: fruits with a regular, conical shape.
Fruit color: fruits with a dark red skin and intense gloss.
Fruit firmness: the variety tolerates transport and storage well, which is an advantage for both producers and sellers. It is characterized by good post-harvest durability.
Yield: a very productive variety, up to 1.2 kg per plant.
Plant: vigorous, moderately spreading.
Resistance: the variety is resistant to root diseases and leaf diseases.
Use: fruits with suitable durability for direct sales.
Cultivation type: this versatile variety grows well in open field and in tunnels.
